Loving Hut (Vegetarian Restaurant)

Some pictures from our last dinner time at Loving Hut.
Malveen is a veg, so me and Baby decided to give it a try (we're never had vegetarian before).
It's kinda of family restaurant atmosphere, but since there's no other vegetarian restaurant in town, so this place is quite happening. The price is rather expensive but I found myself enjoying the food served here. Most of them are cooked in Chinese style, but I saw some western food in the menu.

After that we're going to Ladang Coffee, this coffee shop located in front of Loving Hut.

Hi everyone, wish me luck on this midterm, it's gonna be a week full of stress and less sleeping time, lol. :)
I've done the first day, which is yesterday, and the subject was Cost Accounting.
Ough, I don't like that subject. A lot of calculating. I'm not even sure yet that I could be an accountant one day. Lol. Did I take the right major? Haha.

Alright, this one's for all of us that spend so much time complaining about the opposite sex.

Ok, LADIES FIRST!lol Because you are NOTORIOUS for complaining about the guys you meet. But it's like the title says, "You Catch What You Fish For". Let me break it down for you, when you go fishing, you don't just throw your line out and whatever you catch, you catch. It doesn't work like that. FIRST you decide WHERE your going to fish, whether your going salt water fishing (Ocean), or fresh water fishing (Lake, Pond, etc). So that tells you already, WHERE YOU hang plays a part in what kind of men you meet. SECOND, the BAIT you use determines the kind of fish you’re going to catch. If you're trying to catch Salmon, you use Salmon bait; If you’re trying to catch Trout, Bass, Catfish, etc., you use the kind of bait that those individual fish are attracted to. THE POINT IS.......quit using ASSHOLE BAIT and thinking your going to catch a good man, and then getting mad at ALL MEN when you find out you caught an asshole. If you dress like a PROSTITUTE, you’re going to catch a PIMP. If you wear red braids with big visible tattoos, and you smell like cigarettes....... you're going to attract a dusty dude, straight up.lol If you dress like an executive chick, the executive cat in the suit's more likely to approach you. If you dress and carry yourself like your WIFE MATERIAL, you're going to attract a HUSBAND!!! So you have to stop acting like it's ALL ON US, and before you go out, think of where you’re going, who's going to be there, and what kind of attention you’re going to attract.

Alright now, FELLAS; since I don't have to explain fishing to you, I'm going to get straight to the point. We spend half of our time trying to attain GOLD DIGGER BAIT, and then get mad when every female you meet is a gold digger. Half of the time we are puting up a front and don't really have it like that anyway, but if you use artificial bait, your're going to get an artificial chick. If you use MATERIAL THINGS to get her attention, don't act surprised when you find out she's materialistic!!! I have a friend who has a nice car that gets a lot of attention, and he'll say things like, "yeah I bossed up on her and she was eying my rims hard", or "she was jocking the whip", or "she saw the ice and she was on me", etc. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU FOOL!!! LOL. Same goes for you too, the way you dress and carry yourself determines what you catch. If you have on baggy jeans with some chucks and a big long shirt with tattoos, etc., Don’t expect to attract an executive woman that's in town on business. Just like if you’re in a suit or nice vest, you’re probably not going to attract a hood chick. and SECOND........look at WHERE you’re meeting the chick. Not saying that good women don’t go to clubs, but STOP meeting women at the clubs and being mad when she wants to go out to da clubs with her friends all da time and do her thing. She's not going just become a sit in the house type chick because she met you. That's like a chick coming up to me after a show, and we hook up, and her being mad because I go out of town to perform, or go to the studio too much.

THIS IS WHERE IT GETS RAW:

NOW BEWARE because there are some fakes out there that will put on whatever kind of front they have to in order to get what they want, but if you pay attention to their inconsistencies, they'll eventually give themselves away. For example, as much as it hurts me to say, you can meet a whore at a Church. Now if that's an issue she's working on, that's understandable and it's between her and The Lord. BUT in some cases, it's because the whore wants the respect that the Church girl gets, meaning the way you come at her, the way you automatically think she may be the Wife type, or sometimes you won't even curse in front of her because you don't know exactly How Christian she is.lol But the whore will usually give her self away by trying to sell the "Church Girl" image too hard, and the way she treats people or carries herself won't match up. But she'll just always say how much she Loves going to Church.

IN CONCLUSION though, if you're single and you're REALLY trying to find that somebody, you have to be a reflection of the caliber of person you're looking for. Treat it like a job interview; If your applying for job at McDonalds, you can go in the interview with jeans and a T-Shirt tucked in and get the job by just not saying anything TOO STUPID. But if you want a job at a job that's WORTH KEEPING, you have to get your suit and tie out with your hard bottoms and talk like you have some sense and carry yourself like you deserve to be there. So yeah, at the end of the day, "You Catch What You Fish For". I know this one was long, but hope you got something from it!!! =)

Happy New Year 2010

Hi everyone, happy new year to all of you. I hope you guys had a fun New Year's Eve celebration with your families, friends, and your loved ones :) So, now is the second week of this year, how's your days? Passionate about this year ahead, or just feeling so so? Do you have resolutions to working on? Well, I do have some resolutions, but looking back on years behind, I'm a kind of unfocused girl. So I messed up my resolutions and got very disappointed in the end. Phew, what a habit, yeah I know.
Okay, I've promised to myself that I'll be patiently working on something even tho it takes time, before I do other things. I don't know, it's just kinda boring for me, but.. let see if I can make it. Yay.

So, these are my resolutions for this year:

1. STUDY HARDER.
Yes, I'm officially still in the 3rd semester of Business Accounting at Widya Kartika University. I'm taking night class by the way. Actually I have more time to study than my classmates who works 9 to 5 everyday, but I often underestimating the courses and even though I got good marks, I didn't give my best on it. So I think if I could study harder, who knows I will get perfect marks in all the subjects I take. Haha.

2. LIVE NORMALLY.
Do I look like an abnormal to you? Haha, I know that you'll say yes. Lol. What I'm trying to say here is I had a disorganized life. I ate whenever and whatever I want, from a greasy fried foods and not to mention lots of junk food I swallowed, missed breakfast most of the time, I slept and woke up not in the right time, and I didn't do enough exercise to keep my body fit and in the good shape. I didn't take a good diet. No wonder if I had pimples attack on my face :p
So I just want to live my life in a better way, cause I can't turn back time. Whatever I did wrong in the past, I know I can't fix it.. So now I want to redeem it by doing right and proper things.

3. PLEASANT WORDS.
This one I got from Sunday service this morning. Mrs. Sumiati Amin, the preacher, said about saying pleasant words, give thanks and healing words. The verse was taken from Proverbs 16:24, "Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones"
I've learned that everything I said could be a blessing or curse. Well, I said many bad and destructive words before, so I want to be nicer to myself and others by saying these pleasant words. What are the pleasant words? It simply like telling yourself that you are beautiful, telling your friends how handsome, pretty, nice or how you are thankful to have them as your friends, not telling yourself with destructive words like stupid, ugly, incompetent, etc., and remember every time your mouth tries to say those bad words, shut your mouth. Zip it. Unless you'll regret with what you said. And in the end, what you'll get from this nicer habit is healing for your sickness, prosperity that God has promised you, and a happier life. Dare to take this new way of life?

Liburan.. Iseng² belajar bikin kue. Secara cewek gitu loh, masak sih nggak bisa bikin kue, haha.. Dan pelajaran pertama adalah.. DONAT..!! Why donut? Well, there's no special reasons, I love donuts and I just want to try bake it myself, haha.. :D
The recipe I used here was taken from Bu Fatmah Bahalwan

Bahan:
500 gr tepung terigu protein tinggi
50 gr susu bubuk
11 gr ragi instant
200 gr kentang, kukus, haluskan dan dinginkan
100 gr gula psir
75 gr mentega
½ sdt garam
4 btr kuning telur
100 ml air dingin

Cara membuatnya:

1. Dalam wadah, campur tepung terigu, gula, susu bubuk, ragi instant, aduk rata, masukkan kentang halus ,tuang telur dan air dingin, uleni hingga rata dan setengah kalis.
2. Beri mentega dan garam, uleni terus hingga kalis elastis. Istirahatkan 15 menit.
3. Bagi adonan, masing-masing 50 gr, bulatkan. Diamkan 20 menit, hingga mengembang.
4. Lubangi tengahnya, menjadi bentuk donat, segera goreng sampai kuning kecoklatan.
5. Angkat, tiriskan. Taburi gula donat, atau hias dengan coklat.

I didn't use the whole recipe, because I thought it was the first try out and I didn't have enough confidence :) so I only use half recipe. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of preparations and the process. Maybe next time I'll provide it to share here. Ok, so this was the result, not pretty enough *I know :p* but it tasted sooooooo gooooooodddddd... :) Thanks a lot to Bu Fatmah for sharing the recipe :)
Anyhow, I have to learn more how to put the chocolate for donuts' topping. You see, mine was so untidy :p Ganbatte..!!

Well, buat yang baru putus cinta di Januari 2009 ini, don't be sad, you have to move on guys.. =)
Just remember what Glenn said, "mungkin benar cinta sejati tak berpihak pada kita" hehe.. :p
Perhaps he/she is not the one for you, right?

So you have to be optimistic and don't look back, don't regret of what you've been through, be positive and prepare yourself to meet "the one" for you =)
I know it's not easy to do, me myself have struggled about this months and months. The hardest thing to do for me was to FORGET. It was excruciating.

It just always popped up in my mind, all the bad things that he has done, and how hard I tried not to think about it, there's always things that reminded me of him.
Songs, movies, clothes, places, anything. But yesterday, when I attended a youth service at GMS and Ps. Judy Kusmanto preached about releasing our own feeling and let God's will lead our life. You know, it was really really really a soothing moment for my soul and now I have a new life, I've already forgive and forget. Yihaaa.. :p Thanks to Jesus..

Many people, usually they who got hurt really bad -including me-, can't move on with their lives because they keep the pain and follow their own feeling. You know, like "I'll never forgive him, neveeerrr..!!" :p
But take a look at what David did in 2 Samuel 12:15-24, he was so miserable because his son was sick, he didn't eat, sleep, and take a bath for days, he asked God to heal his son. And in the seventh day his son died. Read carefully verse 20, "Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat". In a simpler sentences, David had overcome the death of his son by surrendering all to God, knowing that his way and God's way were not the same, and he moved on.

See, this is what we all have to do. Don't take it to deep. Once you let your feeling go and let God's will lead your life, even sometimes you feel the process is so difficult and painful, but in the end you'll get the best result. So you have to aim at the result to make you stronger and faithful. "Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift, That's why it's called the Present" said Master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda, hehe.. =) No more tears, no more sorry about yourself, you are precious in His eyes and the best is yet to come..!

1 pekan dari satu tahun aktivitas kita yang kita sisihkan untuk peduli kepada mereka sangatlah berarti untuk mereka. Janganlah menjadi orang yang sama sekali tidak peduli, karena manusia tidak bisa hidup sendiri.

last monday nite i got an accident, hit by a cat. how come? is the cat owkay? well, i was on my way home from attending microeconomics class, i took barata jaya route, and i almost turned left for nginden, then buggggggg.. i fell down with my cheeks on the road. i didn't know what happen, coz it was in a sudden. there were 2 men nearby and i asked them, "what happen? did i hit something? what?" i tried to get up and i felt pain on my left cheek, ankle and right heel. i asked help to those men to move my motorbike aside. thank God they were good men and not robbed me -well, you know, it's surabaya. still in great confused, i asked them again, what on earth was going on? one of them said, it was a cat. it crossed the street suddenly and i was too late to know and hit the brake. then i looked around, tried to find the cat and they said don't worry about the cat, it's okay and it's already gone to the bush. what i had to worry about was myself, my nose bleeding and i felt so much pain on my cheeks and lips. oops i thought i must have lost some of my teeth, but thank God i felt there's nothing wrong with my teeth and lips. right after i knew my vital organs were ok and the motorbike was ok enough to take me home, i went home with so much joy and gratitude, that i did't die. you know, big or small accident, it scares me alot. the choice is only 2, live or die >.< or some may get handicap..
thank God, i still have the opportunity to live.. ^.^

For all that He has done in my life, I don't know how much "Thank You Lord" words I must tell Him in every single breath. But one thing for sure, I'm so thankful that until this day, there are lots of Praise and Worship songs to express our gratitude toward Him. With just a word "Alleluia", it pleases Him and I can imagine He smiles to me from the Heaven above. So don't hesitate to Praise and Worship Him, whenever we can do it.. =)

New Adopted Kittens ^___^

A few weeks ago, Johann's Mom brought 3 little kittens from Kediri on her monthly visiting schedule to Surabaya. Each of them was placed in a box, with used cloth to keep them warm and cozy *umm.. cozy? hiehiehei ^^* I didn't have any idea what was going on in the house when I just got back home from Sunday Service at GMS Cempak a, I heard meowing voices. Since I didn't have any pet, I wondered what was it. As soon as I put my motorcycle in the garage, Johann's Mom (Ik Ay) told me that she brought kittens from her house. So I went to the kitchen, and there they were, so tiny little kittens, and they couldn't see anything because their eyes still not opened yet. I don't know how old are they, but I think they were about 1-2 weeks old. They were orphaned kittens. Ik Ay's youngest son, Welik, found them in an empty house beside his house a day before Ik Ay went to Surabaya. He brought them home and all the family member fell in love with those poor kittens. Kittens are lovable creatures ^^ So then Ik Ay adopted them.

Ik Ay decided to bring the kittens with her to Surabaya because there were no one at her house to take care of them. Beside she also had a big male cat at her house, so she was afraid the big cat would eat the kittens. Do they really eat kittens? I ever heard the story, but it were hamsters, who liked to eat their own babies. How cruel, is it really happen?
Well, back to the kittens, hehe.. The next day Ik Ay and those 3 kittens got back home to Kediri.

Widya Kartika atau Widya Karya?

Kampus mana yah yg lebih bagus untuk kuliah malam ..
Aku pengen ngambil jurusan akuntansi, antara Universitas Widya Kartika Surabaya atau Universitas Katolik Widya Karya Malang.
Kenapa milih kuliah malam, ya jelas supaya pagi nya tetep bisa kerja, hehe ..
Gak ada satupun kenalan ku yg alumni 2 universitas itu, hikz, nyari review di Google juga gak ngaruh apa²..
Kata marketingnya di Widya Kartika Surabaya, kalo jurusan akun kelas malam itu kebanyakan ngajarin praktek, jadi kita benar² dipersiapkan untuk langsung terjun dunia kerja profesional.
Nah yang menarik disini sih katanya bisa lulus dengan 3 - 3.5 tahun aja tapi udah dapat titel SE.
Hihihi gak tau deh kualitas nya gimana..
Trus kalo yang satunya lagi di Malang (Widya Karya) aku liat disini untuk jurusan akuntansi nya udah dapat akreditasi B.
Sedangkan yang Widya Kartika Surabaya, masih akreditasi C.
Emang ngaruh dimana nya sih antara Akreditasi A, B, atau C?
Hihi gak tau deh, harus googling dulu nih nyari jawabannya :p

Tanggal 9 September 2007, jam 11.00 WIB, Visualpch meresmikan *cieehh* kantor barunya di AJBS Jl. Ratna 14, Blok A-1 Surabaya. Beberapa klien, rekan dan relasi turut berbagi kebahagiaan bersama kami. Hmm padahal sebelumnya udah pesimis duluan, jadi nggak nih sukurannya.. coz kita gak ada persiapan matang, hueheuhue... Belum booking catering, kita gak tau mao pesen tumpeng dimana, nyewa kursi dimana, menu nya apa, acaranya ntar gimana, hmm... We have no idea at all!! Sampai the last minutes dan dengan bantuan teman² yang udah biasa ngatur acara gathering, sukuran Visual pun bisa terlaksana. Puji Tuhan and thanks a lot to you guys... We really appreciate it..!! Yaa.. semoga dengan kantor barunya ini, Visual bisa lebih dikenal khalayak ramai *hihi*, desain² nya lbh okeehhh, klien tambah banyak, boss lebih baik n perhatian, lemburnya dikurangin *hehe*.. Amieeennnn.. Viva Visual..!!
